The Global Maritime India Summit 2023 (GMIS 2023) was held from October 17-19, 2023, and took place at the MMRDA Grounds in BKC, Mumbai. The Global Maritime India Summit 2023 received a significant endorsement as Prime Minister Modi personally inaugurated the event, highlighting its national significance. The key features of GMIS 2023 included international exhibitions, country-specific sessions, thematic discussions, state-focused sessions, and recognition of Maritime Excellence Achievers.
GMIS 2023 provided an array of benefits, including avenues for investment, government-to-government interactions, international collaborations, policy deliberations and agreements, opportunities for networking and business expansion, showcasing innovation and technology, and tapping into a skilled workforce. Our participation in this summit offered a unique opportunity to showcase the corruption pledge developed along with the Embassy of Denmark in India which was signed by many industry leaders, seafarers, and students who visited the stall.
