The 1st meeting of the Steering Committee of the MACN (Maritime Anti-Corruption Network)-India was held on Wednesday the 31st of May 2023. The meeting was Chaired by Chairman Indian Ports Association and attended by Capt. Deepak Tewari Container Shipping Lines Association Mr. Deepu Kishinchandani from MARITIME ASSOCIATION OF SHIPOWNERS SHIPMANAGERS AND AGENTS Capt. Rajesh Tandon, FNI from FOREIGN OWNERS REPRESENTATIVES AND SHIP MANAGERS ASSOCIATION Mr. Rajnish Khandelwal from @Maritime Associations of Nationwide Shipping Agencies #MANSA and Capt. The meeting was also attended by MACN India team Mr. Deepak Shetty, I.R.S.(Retd.) , Sr. Adviser, Soumya Dalua , Program Manager and Capt. Rayomand Shroff, Maritime Expert and India HelpDesk in-charge. The team presented overall overview, mandate and objectives of MACN globally and its activities and progress in India. During the meeting Steering Committee members also shared their views and appreciate the efforts taken my MACN in last 10 months.
